Participants join us in September and after a week of brief orientation and training we set of into Africa doing short outreaches for 1 or 2 weeks, return to the base for rest and then set of to a new outreach.

Most of the ministry will be focused on practical help but other opportunities will also be part of the experience like children's ministry, AIDS home based care and friendly visits with the locals. You may even help throw a christmas party for some orphans!

The AE program runs till January where it then goes over to be part of the South AfricanMissions Exposure Programme.

What makes the program so exciting is that you don't need any previous experience to be part of it. All you need to be is a Christian willing to serve the Lord in Africa.
