2Ch 7:14 “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Our vision is to reach out to the less reached people groups in Namibia and equip believers to live a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore we are involved in: 2Ch 7:14 “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Our vision is to reach out to the less reached people groups in Namibia and equip believers to live a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore we are involved in:
Firm Foundation Bible teaching: Eph. 4:12 “To prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be build up…”
The above New Tribes Mission material is used to equip local leaders/pastors in teaching the Word of God. We strongly recommend all volunteers/ short-term outreach groups to receive above training (one week) either inside or before coming to Namibia. As team we can conduct training courses in Afrikaans, English & German. A couple on our team is available to conduct teachings in Europe if the outreach group/church is able to cover the traveling costs/accommodation.
A stream-line Afrikaans version (as many people in Namibia are more familiar with Afrikaans) is available for equipping short-term outreach groups/individual volunteers & leaders in remote areas. A DVD version (Afrikaans) of above teaching will soon be available for children’s ministry. Teachings are also available in dialogue/story form. (Afrikaans/audio version) Suitable resources are an ongoing development.
Mobilizing: Luk.10:2 “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Caring: Gal.6:1&2 “Brothers if someone is caught in a sin, you should restore him gently…. Carry each other’s burden, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Caring for workers
Caring in the Body of Christ
